We’re seeking a motivated Project/Process Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key projects, improve processes, and make a lasting impact on our operations.
Pay – $25/hr – $26/hr (Depending on Experience)
Location – Hayward, CA
Schedule – Mon – Fri
Job Description
- Create and maintain process documentation.
- Review and improve floor layout and equipment and identify areas for improvement for better efficiency and product flow.
- Regularly review document process flow and recommend any improvements to reduce waste.
- Research and procure any primary and secondary tooling required for production operations.
- Review CAD drawings from customer and help make prints for shop floor
- Make and amend Sales Orders and prep job documents for shop.
- Review customer contracts and list requirements for job activities.
- Provide technical support as required to the production floor.
- Maintain and update list of open tasks and track status
- Help troubleshoot both any quality issues and provide direction for solutions as needed.
- Work with Shipping department to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and job sites.
- Key Tasks: Kaizen (continuous improvement), Process Flow, Waste Reduction (Muda), Root Cause and Corrective action.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience working along with Engineers in a manufacturing environment
- Proficent in reviewing CAD, 2D drawings and blueprint
- 2- 3 years hands on mechanical experience and repair
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
- Must be proficient in computers and internal software
