Overview:
The Senior Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that machinery and systems are functioning at peak performance. This role requires expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as strong leadership and project management skills. The ideal candidate will implement preventive maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate maintenance activities to support smooth facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians in a 24/7 facility, providing direction and support.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and longevity.
- Apply mechanical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and areas for improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, using diagnostic tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work with minimal disruption to production.
- Oversee facility improvement projects, ensuring completion within budget and timelines.
- Review and prioritize work orders to ensure operational efficiency.
- Represent the maintenance team in company meetings, providing insight and updates on facility operations.
- Schedule and coordinate the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise fabrication and modification of equipment to enhance production capabilities.
- Develop technical training programs to improve staff expertise and knowledge of facility technology.
- Analyze production, quality control, and maintenance data to refine and adjust maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess equipment needs and modifications for new product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- At least three years of experience leading and managing a maintenance team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems and logic controllers is a plus.
- Strong project management and task prioritization skills.
- Facilities management experience, with a focus on safety compliance.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role within an industrial environment.
